Our whole animal ground beef is dry-aged choice meat processed from one animal. It is available in 40 pound bundles, custom packaged as you would like (i.e. in 1 or 2 pound packages). Price is $14 per pound - $560 for a 40 pound bundle.
Grass-fed ground is very popular in Canada and US and there is a shortage. Customers typically use our ground in meals at least once a week. As a guideline a single order bundle package of 40 seems to suit most individuals and seniors, working-out folks and couples often make a double order, families with children will make a triple order and they make it a quadruple order if they have teenagers. As our dry-aged whole animal ground is flash frozen it keeps well for the entire year - till next time.
Cooking this ground is different from commercial grain-fed beef. It is leaner with more flavour, coming from a slow raised pastured animal. You can cook it in casseroles, lasagne, hamburger soup, meatloaf, tacos, mushroom stroganoff, baked meatballs in the oven or add a bit of avocado oil to the frying pan for burgers. You will notice very little waste grease left over in the pan. You get more high quality red lean meat protein with all the minerals, good omegas and higher levels of phytonutrients. 100% pastured grass-fed animals pass on to you beneficial plant derived compounds that are known to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This is a high power, nutrient dense product!
